V.Mittal explores the perception of the subconscious responding to the fragmented realities, rooted in the structure of The Tree of Life. Painting imaginary planes and semi abstract figures with heavy emphasis on the visual chaos. Working across the expanded field of painting including acrylics, ink, graphite, pen and natural pigment on painting grounds and works on paper. He constructs layered visual systems where shapeshifters and creatures from worlds beyond are revealed. His work integrates alternative myth and symbolic structure mirroring medieval geometric patterns and alternative ritualistic traditions.
His selected body of work has been showcased at Southwark Park Galleries [2025], Copeland Park [2024] Oxo Tower Wharf [2023] and the graduate showcase at Camberwell, College of Art, University of the Arts London.
